I’ve Spent 22 Years Without a Radio in My Car

For the 22 years I’ve owned my car, it has never been graced with a radio. Or any other way to play music. The place where a radio would go is a blank square of the same gray plastic the dashboard is made of. I didn’t leave it out on purpose, but it’s worked out really well.

It’s not that I don’t like music. On the occasions that I’ve rented cars, I go up and down the dial searching…
