All of My Boosted Stories
And what I learned from them
Since August of 2023, I’ve had six stories boosted. Those stories have collectively earned more than the other 202 that I’ve written in the last 3–1/2 years I’ve been on Medium. The lesson learned: Boosted stories are the only way to make a decent amount of money.
We’ve all seen articles from writers who show us a trajectory of steadily increasing earnings, and go into vague ways that you too, can make more money. They rarely, if ever, talk about what they’re writing about to earn the hundreds and often thousands of dollars their screenshots show they’re earning.

· “Be responsive and engaging”
Does anyone else think this advice is less than useless?
I don’t have great advice about making money for you. I think I’ve figured out how to write my own stories in a way that increases the chances of being boosted, but that doesn’t mean I will get boosted or that what I write will work for you. And it certainly doesn’t mean that only my type and style of writing is the kind of thing that gets boosted.
